No matter where you go children represent the joy and hope of the future. However, they are also the innocent ones who must suffer the consequences brought on by bad decisions made by others. Consequences like AIDS, war, homelessness, poverty.
With your help we can help these hungry children rewrite their stories. Right now more than 21,000 children are getting a second chance in life… a chance to rewrite their story… in Africa, India, Asia, South America and the Caribbean. They are getting an opportunity to grow, to stay healthy, and to get an education because compassionate people just like you care enough to turn good intentions into action.
It’s amazing to see how the lives of these children are changed and how hope fills their eyes. It’s amazing to hear their dreams of “what I want to be when I grow up”.
We rejoice with the twenty-thousand plus children who receive help from Feed The Hungry every single day, but there are still multitudes of little ones needing a hand up in life. This year we want to expand the Every Child Every Day project to reach out to 40,000 kids. Among them might be the next head of state, the next educator, the next judge or doctor or businessman. But between now and then, they’ve got to eat.
All it takes is $6 to provide a month’s worth of meals for a hungry child. Your monthly gift of $30 can feed five children daily. Your gift of $72 will guarantee that one more child will have his or her “daily bread” for a whole year.
